Antique Italian Giltwood Wall Shelf, Rococo Acanthus Carved Decor

This is for a lovely Antique very Large Italian Giltwood Shelf that is carved with Scrolls and Acanthus. It is in the beautiful "Rococo Style" and appears to be from the early 20th Century.

This is very large for an item of this style and make while measuring: 26 inches tall x 26 inches wide x 11.5 inches deep for the shelf.
It is marked on the back "Made In Italy" with a number. This is in good condition esp with age.

There are minor losses of finish and perhaps fading. This piece is a true statement item and sure to be enjoyed for years to come!

**One of the back original metal small bars for hanging is missing and it appears two additional holes were added for hanging on the wall where perhaps anchors were / could be used to help support the weight when objects placed on the shelf. The shelf alone is not heavy.
