Vintage 1970s Abaca Fiber Coasters Set of 6 Sunflower Woven Boho Philippines

This is for a wonderful vintage set of 6 handmade abaca fiber coasters dating to the 1970s. Each coaster is woven in two complementary golden tones and shaped like a sunflower, giving the set a fun natural look with wonderful boho and hippie-era character.

Each coaster measures approximately 4 1/2 inches in diameter.

These appear to have been handcrafted in the Philippines from natural abaca fiber, a material traditionally used for woven decorative and household pieces. The two-tone golden coloring highlights the woven sunflower design and adds beautiful texture and dimension.

The natural fibers and handmade construction give each coaster its own individual character, with slight variations that are part of the charm of handcrafted vintage pieces.
