Vintage 1930s Silver Plated Complete Tea Coffee Service Set 7 Pc Tilting Kettle Tray

This is for an Impressive Vintage silver plated tea and coffee service accompanied by a large hallmarked Miyata nickel silver tray. The set features beautiful hand-chased floral and scroll decoration with an elegant early-to-mid 20th century appearance. There is also the matching tilting tea kettle and stand making for a complete set!

The silver plated pieces are hallmarked with a crown, an unreadable mark that appears possibly to be a "G," an "S," and two crossed keys. These marks are attributed to Goldfeder Silver Company of Yalesville, Connecticut, which operated beginning in the 1930s and was later associated with Birmingham Silver Co.

The pieces feature ornate floral scroll decoration and are inline with the GDS11 design/pattern, dating to approximately the 1930s.

The set includes -

• Tilting Tea Kettle with Stand and Burner - approximately 16 inches x 8 inches x 8 inches

• Coffee Pot - approximately 13 inches x 11 inches x 6 inches

• Tea Pot - approximately 11 inches x 10 inches x 6 inches

• Creamer - approximately 6.5 inches x 6.5 inches x 4 inches

• Lidded Sugar Bowl - approximately 7.5 inches x 7.5 inches x 4.5 inches. Please note that the lid knob has been repaired.

• Waste Bowl / Pot - approximately 5 inches x 4.5 inches

The accompanying large nickel silver tray is hallmarked Miyata and features an elaborate border decorated with beautiful roses and leaves. It measures approximately 28 inches x 19 inches x 1.5 inches. There are scratches to the center surface from previous use, as shown in the photos.

Together, the ornate silver plated tea and coffee service and oversized floral tray create a beautiful and impressive presentation. This substantial set would be wonderful for a formal dining room, buffet, tea service, wedding, special occasion, or decorative display.

These are vintage pieces and will show signs of age and previous use, including surface scratches, tarnish, polishing marks, and other age-appropriate wear. The sugar bowl lid knob has been repaired as noted above. Please review all photos carefully for condition, hallmarks, and detailing, as they are considered part of the description. Note the inside of the pieces are also in wonderful condition.
