Copeland Spode Aster Chintz Handled Cake Plate Red Multicolor England Vintage

This is a beautiful vintage Copeland Spode handled cake plate / serving tray in the Spode Aster pattern, featuring the striking red and multicolor Chintz colorway.

The plate is richly decorated in an all-over chintz pattern with a red floral and leaf transfer background enhanced by hand-painted details in yellow, blue, red and green. The integrated handles and softly shaped form make this an especially attractive serving and display piece.

Measurements: Approximately 11 inches long x 9.25 inches wide x 1 inch high.

The underside bears the Copeland / Late Spode / England backstamp along with Rd No. 204203 and Kit G markings.

This colorful English porcelain piece works beautifully as a cake plate, handled serving tray or decorative display plate and is a wonderful addition to a Copeland Spode or English Chintz collection.

The plate is in wonderful vintage condition with no crazing, cracks or chips. Please review all photos carefully for condition, markings and hand-painted details, as they are considered part of the description.
