Spanish Sterling Silver 915 Tea Coffee Service 4 Piece Vintage Silver Set w Tray

This is for an exceptional Spanish 915 silver tea and coffee service accompanied by a beautiful antique silver plated serving tray. This elegant set includes a tea pot, coffee pot, covered sugar bowl, creamer, waste bowl, and a square pierced Victorian-era silverplated serving tray, creating a complete presentation suitable for entertaining, display, or a distinguished silver collection.

The silver pieces are marked with the Spanish hallmark used after 1934 along with the five-point star fineness mark indicating 915/1000 silver purity. Each piece also bears the maker's mark "SG" within a hexagon.

The design is particularly striking, featuring ornate floral decorated feet and uniquely shaped bodies with a softly tufted appearance that gives the set exceptional visual appeal. All hinges and finials are intact and functioning properly. The interiors of all pieces are clean and in wonderful condition with no staining.

Condition is very good overall. There are a few minor dents consistent with age and use, with examples identified in the photographs by red dots. No large dents are present on any of the pieces. Please review all photographs carefully as they are considered part of the description.

The silver pieces include:

• Tea Pot - 7.5 inches tall x 8.5 inches wide x 6 inches deep - 38 oz
• Coffee Pot - 8.5 inches tall x 9 inches wide x 6 inches deep - 44 oz
• Sugar Bowl with Lid - 5.5 inches tall x 7 inches wide x 5 inches deep - 11.3 oz
• Creamer - 5.5 inches tall x 6 inches wide x 5 inches deep - 9.1 oz
• Waste Bowl - 3 inches tall x 4 inches diameter - 3.8 oz

Total silver weight: 106.2 ounces

Included with the service is a magnificent antique silver plated tray marked EGW&S, EPNS, and pattern number A1015/14. The tray is believed to date from approximately 1890 to 1910 and appears to be of English manufacture. It features an elegant square form with pierced edges, floral decoration, and intricate Victorian styling.

The tray measures approximately 16 inches by 16 inches and provides ample space for serving or displaying the tea service. The silver plate remains in wonderful condition with only age-appropriate surface scratches consistent with careful use over the years.

This remarkable Spanish silver service and antique tray set combines fine craftsmanship, substantial silver content, and timeless elegance, making it a truly impressive addition to any collection or formal entertaining setting. Note the pictures to show two small dents.
