Gorham Sterling Silver Candelabras Pair 659 Pilgrim Old French Weighted

This is for a stunning pair of Gorham Sterling Silver Candelabras in Pattern No. 659, a design often referred to as Pilgrim or Old French.

Crafted from .925 sterling silver, these elegant convertible candelabras feature beautifully detailed candle cups with decorative ring accents and substantial, richly designed bases that reflect Gorham's exceptional craftsmanship.

Each candelabra converts from a three-light candelabra to a single candlestick by simply removing the arms, making them versatile for both everyday display and formal entertaining. The arms are designed to slip into place and are not threaded, allowing for easy conversion.

The pair includes:
2 Convertible Sterling Silver Candelabras
Height: 8 inches
Width: 11½ inches
Depth: 4¼ inches
Weight: 1,596 grams each (weighted construction)

Each piece is marked Gorham, Sterling, Weighted, and Pattern No. 659, confirming its authenticity.

These elegant candelabras hold standard taper candles and make a striking centerpiece for a dining table, mantel, or buffet. Their timeless styling complements Colonial, Traditional, Federal, and Classic interiors.

There is one very small crinkle at the base of one candlestick that is extremely difficult to photograph because of the reflective sterling finish. It is minor, does not affect stability or appearance, and is far better than typically found on vintage sterling candlesticks of this age.

These are in wonderful vintage condition, have been polished, and are ready to display and enjoy for generations to come.

Please note that all items in my shop are vintage, antique, or previously loved and may show gentle signs of age and use consistent with vintage condition. Any significant flaws or condition issues beyond normal wear will always be noted in the description and photographs.

I carefully source my pieces from estate sales and vintage collections throughout Arizona and research each item to provide the most accurate details possible.

Please review all photos carefully and feel free to message me with any questions prior to purchasing, as returns are not accepted unless an item has been significantly misrepresented.
