Antique Sheffield Silver Plate Tea Set w Tray 5 Pc Silverplate on Copper England

This is for an Antique Tea Coffee Set with tray that is marked from Sheffield England. It is Silver plate over very thick copper. The marker is unknown but would date to 1890 to 1930 for production date due to design, feet, scroll handles, leaf and acorn final and thickness of the pieces.

This set does show age in that the copper is heavy and yet softer than newer metals and has some wave to the pieces from use, no major dents, just small ones.... They are very hard to photograph as so shiny.

The finals on the pieces are leaves with acorns. These pieces are very heavy and are silver plated over copper, and marked Made in Sheffield England. The items have swirls on the handles to clean decorative lines on the rims with thick statement piece feet.

1 - Tea Pot measuring: 8 inches tall x 12.5 inches wide x 7 inches deep
1 - Creamer measuring: 6 inches tall x 7 inches wide x 4.5 inches deep
1 - Sugar with lid measuring: 8 inches tall x 6 inches wide x 4 inches deep
1 - Waste Pot measuring: 4 inches tall with a 4 inch diameter

These are in better then age appropriate condition as they are very old and show slight use wear. It is a very unusual set esp with the thickness of the under copper.

1 - Serving Tray measuring: 25 inches wide x 14.5 inches deep
***The Feet on the tray are missing - which is not seen unless tray is turned over
