Antique Cornelius & Co Victorian Brass Girandole Candelabra Set of 3

This is for a fabulous set of three antique gilt brass Victorian girandole candlesticks by Cornelius & Company of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, crafted in the late 1890s. This impressive garniture set includes one large three-arm girandole candelabra accompanied by two matching single candlesticks, creating an elegant mantel or dining table display.

Each piece is beautifully cast in gilt brass and richly decorated with scrolling foliage, flowers, and charming love birds surrounding the crystal prism holders. The centerpiece features an exceptional relief scene depicting a medieval knight standing at the entrance of a castle, an uncommon and highly decorative motif that makes this set especially collectible.

The candelabras rest on their original two-tier solid off-white stone bases, adding substantial weight and stability. Designed to originally display hanging crystal prisms, the prism holders remain intact should you wish to add crystals in the future.

This stunning set blends Victorian, Rococo Revival, and Hollywood Regency styles, making it equally at home in traditional, French Country, eclectic, or grand historic interiors.

Large 3-arm candelabra: 18.5 inches tall x 16.5 inches wide x 4 inches deep
Two matching single candlesticks: 16 inches tall x 6.5 inches wide x 4 inches deep each

Together, the set holds five standard taper candles and creates an impressive display whether illuminated or simply admired as decorative sculpture.

These are true antiques and show appropriate age-related wear. The stone bases have a few small edge nicks consistent with age, and one base has a professionally glued crack, shown in the photographs, which is stable and not visually distracting.

Overall, this garniture set remains in wonderful antique condition and is ready to grace a mantel, buffet, dining table, or entry console for years to come.
