Antique Silver Plate Wine Cooler / Silver Antique Cachepot Jardiniere / Neoclassical Lion Paw Feet Wine Chiller / Silverplated Ice Bucket

This is for a Beautiful Antique Silver Plated wine cooler / cachepot / jardiniere that features a neoclassical design. This statement piece has large lion heads leading to lion paws for feet. The ornate design makes it a unique and stylish addition to any barware collection.
The urn measures: 9.5 inches tall with a diameter of 10.5 inches.

There are no makers marks but with the design and make of the item it dates to the late 19th century to early 20th century (1890 - 1910) and most likely of Continental European origin (likely Italian or French export).

The silver plate is over copper with very little copper showing thru on a few raised areas, and in better than age appropriate condition. The feet and rim are applied decorations. The legs are not completely straight but the bucket does sit fairly straight regardless. I would take care if adjusting feet or the rim to not have them crack as the metal is thick but still bendable and soft.

The silver plated wine chiller has a round shape with an all-over floral rim and a decorative vase design, perfect for all occasions. Handmade with attention to detail, this original piece will add an antique touch of elegance to any kitchen / bar or home decor.
