Sterling Silver Candlestick 1839 Vienna Wiener Biedermeier / Antique Sterling Candle Holder / Silver Antique Single Dinner Taper Candlestick

This is for a Vintage Sterling Silver Wiener Biedermeier candle holder which is a beautiful addition to any space with its Victorian style and floral pattern. Standing at 10 inches tall, this candlestick features a single stick design and a diameter of 4.5 inches, making it a unique and elegant piece for any home decor.

Made of sterling silver with a .925 composition, this candle holder exudes a classic and timeless charm that will complement any antique or traditional decor. The base of the piece is missing which would have had the makers marks and sterling and perhaps a pattern number. The weighted weight of the item is 543 grams.

I was able to find the exact piece on line and found information that this was made in Vienna in 1893 by Wiener Biedermeier. The unweighted weight was listed as 267 grams as shown on the foot with no inside weight shown, info per auction houses site in Sweden. I believe thus the weight was added to support it at a later date as sterling is soft and most candle holders have weight inside. This has some crinkle at the base which perhaps happened prior to the weight added.

* I take great care in packaging items correctly and shipping on time.
