Antique Portuguese Holy Ghost Crown / Portuguese (Espirito Santo) .833 Silver Crown & Stand / 19th Century Hand Craft Espirito Santo Crown

This is for an Antique Portuguese Silver Holy Ghost (Espirito Santo) Santo Crown & Stand. This is a rare piece as is a crown used in actual ceremonies and not a replica.

This is crafted from Portuguese Silver and is marked in 2 spots with the marks from maker and a Boar / Javali which stands for .833 Silver and dates this crafting between 1887 to 1937. This appears to be an earlier piece and from the late 19th century.
The second mark is a rosette - silversmith / workshop mark. This has a deep repousse pattern and flowers on the entire crown and stand, mostly period bolts, 4 different colored gems, and dove final. The stand is two pieces that screw together and the crown is comprised of multiple pieces held together. Can see in the pics.

**There is one spot where a bolt was repaired and can see the screw head from the outside.
The piece holds significance in the Portuguese tradition, particularly during the Holy Ghost Festival, a spectacle of Catholic pageantry.
This crown and stand are not replicas but rather a set that would have been used during the festival.

This is a stunning full-size religious collectible measuring 20.5 inches in height with the crown on the stand.
The crown measures 15 inches in height and has a diameter of 9 inches in diameter at the bottom and 11 inches at the widest part. This has a weight of 1,405 grams.
