Antique Rocco Silver Candlesticks / Antique Baroque Candle Holders / Continental Silver Rococo German Candle Holders / 19th C. Candlesticks

This is for a matched pair of Artistic 19th Century Rococo Revival Decorative Sterling Silver Tall Candle Holders. Each of these measures: 12.5 inches tall x 5 inches wide x 5 inches deep. These are hollow on the inside with no added weights. The total weight for the pair is 456 grams or 16.1 Oz. These are valued in the craftsmanship and the age.

The Silver is bendable and points to these being Continental sterling (German or Austrian usually 80-90% silver) as they were often made without markings during the late 1800's to early 1900's. The only marking is a V on each which is most likely the workshop lettering, no makers marks seen. These are hand crafted from thin hollow repousse silver sheets that were formed and then the 4 pieces connected together.
Being such this and soft silver there are bends esp at the base of each of these, although they do sit well.

The artistic beauty of these makes them wonderful to display for a centerpiece to use on a mantle with or without candles!

Remember vintage items have been used and will have small issues like surface scratches and age appropriate wear. I will show any major issues in my pictures as they are part of the description.

*If an item is damaged in shipping you agree to hold onto the item, box and packing materials until the claim is processed and I will need you to take any necessary pictures to file with the carrier.

* I take great care in packaging items correctly and shipping on time.
