This is for an exceptional signed studio art glass vase by renowned French glass artist Jean-Claude Novaro (1943–2014). Handcrafted in France and signed and dated 1986 on the base, this spectacular museum-quality vase showcases Novaro's masterful artistry and innovative glassblowing techniques.

Standing an impressive 14 inches tall, this is an unusually large example of Novaro's work, making it considerably rarer than most pieces found on the market. The vase is hand blown from rich cobalt blue glass with a mesmerizing iridescent finish, layered marbled effects, and hot-applied abstract elements reminiscent of flowing leaves and botanical forms. The brilliant colors and dimensional surface create an ever-changing display as light moves across the glass.

Jean-Claude Novaro was internationally celebrated as "The King of Glass" for his pioneering techniques, incorporating layered colors, metallic oxides, and luminescent powders into his work. Operating from his studio on the Côte d'Azur in Southern France, his Art Deco-inspired forms and vibrant color palettes have become highly sought after by collectors worldwide. Novaro also holds the world record for the largest hand-blown coupe ever created, further cementing his place in contemporary glass history.
