Novaro Iridescent Cobalt Vase, Signed Art Deco Glass, 1986

This 14" signed vase by Jean-Claude Novaro from 1986 is a stunning piece of iridescent cobalt blue studio glass. Handmade in France, this abstract art vase showcases a beautiful 3D effect with an Art Deco style finish, making it a unique and decorative addition to any space.

This is a RARE piece in that the size is very large compared to others crafted. This measures: 14 inches tall with a diameter of: 10 inches at the widest and 6 inches at the rim.

This vintage studio crafted Novaro Blue lined glass has marbled effects with hot applied pieces in an abstract design reminiscent of plants and leaves.

Facts: artist Jean-Claude Novaro (1943- 2014) is a renowned French glass Artist, often refereed to as "The King of Glass". He was known for his innovative glassblowing techniques while layering materials and using luminescent powders into the glass. Interesting fact: Novaro has the World Record for crafting the largest ever handblown coupe.
His styling often was Art-Deco inspired shapes and vibrant colors. He worked out of a studio in Southern France on the Cote D'Azur.
