Fritz Heckert Antique Hand Blown Chalice / Heckert Enameled and Jeweled Hand Painted Large Goblet / Venetian Hand Painted Wine Chalice

Crafted with the utmost care, this Fritz Heckert Antique Hand Blown Chalice is a stunning piece of art glass that embodies the elegance of Italian Venetian style. The gold color palette, along with the intricate enameled design in reds, blues and greens features lion heads and swirls, makes this wine glass a noteworthy addition to any collection, while having jeweled decorations though out the bowl. The Stem also has a metal wrap, perhaps sterling silver as polishes.

The large size, standing at 9 inches tall with a 5.25 inch diameter makes for a unique show trophy styled piece to add to any glass collection. Murano, renowned for its exquisite handcrafted glassware, is the birthplace of this unique item.

The attributed maker of the glass is Fritz Heckert (Silesian 19th Century). The large antique show trophy is Enameled, Gilt and Jeweled with production dates from approximately 1890 to 1900.

This large chalice is in lovely condition with no chips, cracks or noted issues. This piece came from a larger collection of unique blown glasses from a private collection.
