Antique Salviati Venetian Glass Bowl & Candlestick Set, Enamel Canine Foliate Design

This is for an amazing and unique Antique Rare Italian 3 Piece Collectible set by Moser / Salviati in the "Canine and Foliate" pattern. This collection is Venetian Hand crafted glass with hand painted colored enamel. The set consists of 2 very tall Candle holders and a matching Octagonal footed centerpiece bowl. These are attributed to Salviati as the manufacturer in Italy and decorated by Moser while being crafted from 1890 to 1899. These are truly rare pieces that will impress any collector.

The bowl has an octagonal shape and measures 7.5 inches tall with a width of 9.5 inches. The candle holders measure approximately 13.25 inches tall.
The matching glass pieces are all hand painted enamel with a colorful floral pattern and running dogs or some refer to the animals as prancing deer (but due to the name of the pattern one could assume they are dogs). The floral leaf pattern is in a light aqua blue / green while all having gold accents.

Being Hand crafted there are natural variances in the glass. All pieces are in lovely antique condition with no chips, cracks or issues. The gold shows wear in areas but nothing not expected due to the age of the pieces.

Interesting Background info on the creation of these pieces:

Antonio Salviati revitalized the Venetian glass industry that had taken a back seat to the English and Bohemian Glass markets. In 1877 Salviati founded his own blown glass company on the island of Murano in Italy. The pattern on these glasses "Canine and Foliate" pattern was by Ludwig Moser and based on a 16th century Spanish design. The glasses were crafted in Italy and then sent to Bohemia for the Moser Workshop to hand enamel and gild them with the lovely colored decorations.
