This is for a wonderful RARE Polished Vintage brass Peacock bird fan fireplace screen. It looks lovely open and yet still very decorative when sitting closed. This lovely piece has an actual large Peacock design and is two sided, but with one side being the back. It also is adorned with a decorative handle - Finial on the top for carrying it. This particular piece is lacquered.

This folding screen can be closed and locked when not in use and or to store with the hooks on the side. The intricate detail of the filigree cut-out screen creates an amazing reflection and is very light catching. The front of the screen is the front of the peacock and the back shows the back of the bird. This decorative screen is the first one in this Peacock design I have ever obtained.

The fan has an Art Deco, Neoclassical, Hollywood Regency feel to the design. The total height of the fan with the handle is 31.5 inches tall. When the fan is open it has a width of 37 inches and the base is 5 inches deep.

This fan weighs lbs - which is very heavy for this type of peacock fan.

This item is sure to please and will be loved for many years to come. I have carried these type of fans for years and this is the first actual peacock I have obtained making it quite unusual and a fun piece to own!
