This is for a beautiful 6 piece Antique Sterling Silver S. Kirk & Son . RepousseTea and ...ffee Service Set that is in wonderful condition and absolutely stunning.

This prominent American silver company was founded by Samuel Kirk in 1815. The Dates for the production of this set would be from 1896 to 1924 and crafted in Baltimore Maryland.

The repousse pattern is comprised of 3 dimensional flowers and foliage. The tray has a glass insert that is held in with sterling collars that screw to the button feet so can be removed for cleaning.

The Floral decorated matching service pieces are all marked with makers name, 925/1000, and pattern #74. The tray is marked with makers name, 925/1000 and #1222.

Included are a Tea Pot, Coffee Pot, Creamer, Sugar Bowl with Lid, Waste Pot and a large handled tray that is glass with a sterling holder, feet and handles. All pieces are in wonderful condition and look to have been a display piece with little or no use. The glass on the tray appears to have been replaced as the original had a design.


Total Weight of the Sterling Silver in this set is : 148.7 Oz = 4216 grams. (weight does NOT include the glass as was taken apart for weighing and cleaning)

1 - Teapot measures : 9.5 inches tall x 9.75 inches wide x 5.25 inches deep - weight is 26.3 Oz

1 - Sugar Bowl with lid measures : 7.25 inches tall x 7.25 inches wide x 4 7/8 inches deep - weight is 17.0 Oz

1 - Creamer measures : 5.75 inches tall x 6 inches wide x 4 1/8 inches deep - weight is 10.6 Oz

1 - Waste Bowl measures : 4.25 inches tall with a diameter of 5.5 inches - weights is 12.5 Oz

1 - Lg Sterling Tray with Glass insert measures : 1.5 inches tall x 25.5 inches long x 16.5 inches deep. The tray (without the glass) weight of silver is - 53.1 Oz
