Hand Hammered Nickel Silver Champagne Bucket with Bone Handles, MCM Barware

This is for a rare Nickel Silver Champagne Bucket / Ice Bucket with natural Handles. I believe that they are bone but perhaps they are horn.

The styling is modern / mid century modern to contemporary and will go with many design styles. The piece is previously loved and in wonderful condition and will make for a lovely addition to any bar. Please look at all the pictures to see small noted area of wear or imperfection.

This is food safe but not for use with acidic foods. This is polished and should be dried after use to keep in this in lovely condition. This piece was most likely crafted in Argentina / South America and is hand hammered / crafted. There are no marking as to the metal but is very similar to Alpaca Silver* in appearance but has a gold hue.

This measures: 9 inches tall x 12.5 inches wide x 9.5 inches deep. It is perfect for an ice bucket, wine chiller, planter to champagne holder. This is a unique hand crafted item and thus is a true eye catching barware item to be enjoyed for years to come.


*Alpaca silver also known as Nickel Silver can be polished with Silver cleaner as it does tarnish over time. Nickel Silver is very firm and can be polished to a very high shine. The typical make up of this is: 60% copper, 20% Nickel and 20% Zinc. I cannot verify the metal but appears to be nickel silver that has brass in the mix with the other noted metals.
