Vintage Centerpiece Bowl / Vintage Metal Cherub Bowl / Catco Italy Crystal Bowl / Mid Century Centerpiece Bowl / Cherub Centerpiece Bowl

This is for a large Mid-Century pedestal Hollywood Regency Centerpiece Bowl / mpote. This is most likely from L & LWMC . The marble on the base is marked Catco made in (Italy).

It is a beautiful piece with a cherub cast white metal that has a gilt gold finish for the stem. On top of the center stem sits a large beautiful intricitally cut clear bowl. There are also vintage hanging crystals that are very light reflective and add interest to this vintage bowl.

This lovely Hollywood Regency styled bowl measures: 11.5 inches tall with a diameter of 11.5 inches.

The gilt gold overlay shows some wear / discoloration as is normal for items of this age and make. The crystal bowl is in wonderful condition with no chips on the rim. The bowl does not hold water as the stem comes up through the bowl to hold it is place. (I would place a smaller bowl in the center if wish to use for fresh flowers.)

The bowl is very light reflective and there are replaced Hanging prisms . It is a very large ornate centerpiece bowl that surely will be enjoyed for many more years to come!
