Vintage Borghese Gilded Lion Bookends, 1970s Majestic Statues

This is for a set of Vintage Borghese Lion Bookends. The Lions are Cast with a high quality Plaster with a Gilt Finish while the base appears to be a resin with surfaces deliberately distressed to mimic years of wear and patina.

These are in nice condition with repairs seen on the corners but hard to notice unless up close at an angle, thus they are discounted from the normal sales price of others I have had in the past.

The bookends are Heavily weighted with an attached metal piece to place under the books when used as book ends. These lovely lions can also be used as just decorative statues.

These each Measure: 6.5 inches tall x 7 inches tall x 3 inches.

This pair certainly makes a statement and will be enjoyed for years to come.
