Vintage Gold Finished Decorative Scale with Crystals, Italian Marble Base

This is for a beautiful vintage Baroque-style decorative scale featuring an ornate brass-tone finish, polished brass bowls, sparkling glass accents, and elegant hanging spear-shaped crystal prisms. Resting on a substantial Italian white marble base, this impressive decorative piece makes a striking centerpiece for a variety of decorating styles.

While often described as brass, the ornate framework is cast metal with a brass-tone finish (commonly referred to as pot metal), while the two scale bowls are crafted from polished brass. The combination of rich metallic finishes, marble, glass, and crystals creates an elegant European-inspired display piece.

The decorative scale measures approximately 19 inches tall x 16 inches wide x 4½ inches deep.

Designed for decorative use, the balance arm is stationary and does not function as a working scale. The polished brass bowls provide wonderful display areas for flameless candles, potpourri, seasonal decorations, ornaments, artificial flowers, or other small decorative treasures.
