Antique Silver Plated Champagne Bucket: Hartford Silver Co, 1900s Wine Chiller

This is for a unique Antique by Hartford Sterling . that is a Silver Plated Champagne Bucket / Wine Chiller / Trophy Urn. This piece has different styling than most newer pieces as it is a lower bucket, with clean lines.

The bucket is heavier then newer pieces and is silverplated over copper. The raised area on the foot shows some of the under copper due to wear and age, approx 100 years old. Other raised areas may show wear also. There are no dents.

The urn measures: 6 inches tall x 9.5 inches wide with the handles and has an 8 inch diameter. The makers marks are on the foot. These marks are for the Hartford Sterling . which was based in Philadelphia, PA. This company was in business between the early 1900's to the mid 1930's. Thus dating this piece to being crafted between these years, making it an antique or close to it!
