Antique Hungarian Sterling Silver Passover Seder Plate 925 Hand Chased

This is for a beautiful and exceptionally rare antique Hungarian Sterling Silver (925) Passover Seder plate. Expertly handcrafted from heavy gauge sterling silver, this impressive Judaica centerpiece is richly hand chased with intricate floral motifs, pomegranates, fruit, and traditional decorative panels surrounding a central field of Hebrew inscriptions.

The reverse is marked Sterling 925, Hungary, and 614 Gr. The plate weighs approximately 604 grams on my scale. Based on comparable museum examples and estate pieces, this remarkable Seder plate is believed to date to the first quarter of the 20th century.

The detailed hand chasing, substantial weight, and exceptional craftsmanship make this a significant example of early Hungarian Judaica. Whether displayed in a collection, used during Passover celebrations, or treasured as a family heirloom, this elegant piece is certain to become a focal point.
