Antique French Bronze Ink Well / Victorian Gold Bronze Ink Well / Antique Brass Figural Encrier / Victorian Crystal Ink Jars / Lion Paw Feet

This is for an absolutely beautiful large antique Circa 1890's French Bronze Double Ink Well, writing station. The Encrier has two large areas where the cut crystal hinged lidded ink wells sit. I show it with a second use as a candle holder with candles placed in the ink wells, you could also put a fresh flower in the glass ink containers! Remove any left over wax and dry the item when done to keep in the best condition.

The bronze was cast to include lion paw feet, to the lids on the ink wells and a centerpiece figural face to add to the full Louis XV styling. This is unusually large measuring: 7 inches tall x 15 inches wide x 8 inches deep.

*The piece sits a bit off, due to feet height difference, so have clear rubber on back foot to keep from rocking if touched. The original green marble / stone centerpiece also has a crack but there is a brass piece on base so won't break more if taken care of.

Majority of my items for sale are pre-loved treasures that were most likely purchased at a local Estate Sale or a local resale shop in Arizona. I may or may not know details but do spend time researching information to provide details the best I can and to pass along fair prices.
