Steiff Rosey Pink Mohair Teddy Bear LE 3000 Festival Bear 1999

This is for a wonderful Steiff Rosey Teddy Bear, a charming Limited Edition Festival Bear created exclusively for the 3rd Steiff Festival held in Giengen an der Brenz, Germany, the hometown where Steiff bears have been handcrafted for generations.

Crafted in 1999, Rosey was issued in a limited edition of only 3,000 bears worldwide. She is made from luxurious pink mohair and features fully jointed arms, legs, and head, allowing her to be posed in a variety of positions.

Rosey measures approximately 12 inches tall and features bright blue eyes, a sweet smiling expression, a hand-stitched nose and paws, and the special red embroidered "1999" on her foot. Inside her body is a traditional working growler that produces a charming growling sound when she is gently tilted or moved.

Included with this collectible bear are her original Steiff identifiers:
Original brass Button in Ear
Original white ear tag
Original chest tag
Original blue hanging festival tag

This bear comes from a dedicated Steiff collector and appears to have been displayed only. She remains in wonderful unused collector condition with beautifully preserved mohair and tags.

Rosey is a delightful addition to any Steiff collection and is especially desirable for collectors of Steiff Festival bears, limited editions, and unique character bears.
