This is for a unique antique Cherub / Putti / Cupid figurine with a beautifully aged bronze-toned finish and rich antique patina. Cast from heavy metal, this charming late nineteenth-century European-style sculpture captures the timeless elegance and romantic symbolism often found in Victorian and Continental décor.

The winged cherub carries a small pouch and pack over his shoulder, suggesting he may represent Cupid or a traveling putti. His expressive pose and finely modeled details give the figure wonderful character. The open mouth also suggests he may have originally held a small horn or other accessory, although this cannot be confirmed.

This listing includes:
1 Antique Cherub / Putti Figurine
Height: 10 inches
Width: 4 inches
Depth: 4 inches

The base is irregularly shaped, leading to the possibility that the figure may have originally been part of a larger decorative object or sculpture. Despite this, it sits flat and displays beautifully.

There are no maker's marks, but the style, casting, and finish are consistent with late 19th-century European decorative art.

This is in wonderful antique condition with a naturally aged patina that enhances its antique charm. It would make a beautiful addition to a Victorian, French, Classical, or European décor collection and is ready to display and enjoy for years to come.
