Antique Cornelius & Co Victorian Girandole Candlesticks Marble Brass

This listing is for a fabulous pair of matching antique Victorian girandoles featuring beautifully detailed figural scenes depicting a man and woman among tropical coconut trees while the gentleman appears to be reading a book with a bird resting on his shoulder.

The intricate jungle-inspired design adds incredible character and elegance to these rare antique pieces.

Each antique girandole features finely cast solid brass candlesticks with brass bobeches adorned with sparkling hanging crystal prisms that catch and reflect the light beautifully. The candlesticks are mounted to their original solid off-white stone bases and were crafted circa late 1890s by Cornelius & Company, USA.

These stunning antique girandoles embody the elegance of Victorian, Rococo, and Hollywood Regency decor styles and make striking statement pieces for a mantel, dining table, console, or entryway display.

The hanging prisms create beautiful light reflection and add warmth and glamour wherever displayed.

Each piece measures approximately 15 inches tall by 5 inches wide by 3 inches deep.

These true antique pieces remain in wonderful vintage condition with age-appropriate wear consistent with authentic late 19th century pieces. The stone bases may show small idiosyncrasies or tiny flea bites typical of antique stone, but nothing major to note. The crystals are lovely and reflective and display beautifully.
