Antique Cornelius & Co Victorian Girandole Brass Crystal Candelabra

This listing is for a fabulous antique 3-arm Victorian Girandole candelabra by Cornelius & Company of Philadelphia, dating to the late 1890s. Richly cast from solid brass and mounted on its original off-white stone base, this exceptional antique features elegant hanging crystal prisms and remarkable figural detail, making it a true statement piece.

The centerpiece depicts a knight standing in the entrance of a castle, surrounded by elaborate Victorian scrollwork, floral motifs, and decorative lovebirds supporting the ornate brass bobeches. The combination of finely cast brass, sparkling antique crystals, and substantial stone base exemplifies the craftsmanship for which Cornelius & Company was renowned.

17 inches wide
4 inches deep

The candelabra holds three standard taper candles and is equally beautiful displayed with or without candles. The antique crystal prisms catch and reflect light beautifully, creating stunning sparkle on a mantel, buffet, dining table, or entry console.

Condition:
This antique candelabra is in wonderful antique condition. The original stone base shows minor age-related character, including small natural imperfections and occasional tiny flea bites consistent with its age. The antique crystal prisms have each been individually cleaned and inspected. There are no medium or large chips or cracks; there may be an occasional tiny edge nick typical of antique prisms that is not noticeable in display.

This remarkable Cornelius & Company Girandole complements Victorian, Rococo, French Country, Hollywood Regency, Traditional, and Classical interiors and is ready to be displayed and enjoyed for generations.
