Antique Sterling Silver Crystal Perfume Bottle Birmingham 1906 Hobnail Scent

This is for a lovely antique lead crystal perfume bottle or scent bottle featuring a timeless round form and beautifully cut hobnail pattern. Rich in Art Nouveau-era charm, this elegant vanity accessory showcases the exceptional craftsmanship and sparkle associated with fine English crystal of the early 20th century.

The thick lead crystal body is decorated with an all-over hobnail design that catches and reflects light beautifully. The bottle is fitted with its original sterling silver collar and lid, adding a refined touch to this collectible dressing table piece.

The sterling silver hallmarks indicate Birmingham assay office manufacture, with the anchor mark for Birmingham, the lion passant denoting sterling silver, and a lowercase "g" date letter corresponding to 1906. The maker's mark preceding these hallmarks is unfortunately unreadable.

Measuring approximately 4 inches tall by 3 inches in diameter, this antique perfume bottle displays beautifully on a vanity, dresser, bathroom shelf, or within a collection of antique silver and crystal accessories.

The bottle is in wonderful antique condition with no chips or cracks. There is one small area containing a speck of material that was trapped within the glass during manufacture, a production characteristic from the original glassmaking process. Please see the photographs marked with a red dot for reference.

This is in wonderful antique condition and will make a beautiful addition to any collection of Art Nouveau, vanity, sterling silver, or antique crystal pieces.
