This is for a wonderful Mid Century Elephant hand crafted box. It is crafted from tightly woven thin wicker which is then lacquered. The elephant is actually a box with a lid that is the removable on his back and the inside is smoothly finished. The vintage whimsical Elephant box has the original sticker on the base of one of the feet. The ears, tusks and the feet of the elephant are stained wood . The eyes are another material other than wicker making them stand out as if he is watching you! The vintage elephant basket measures: 10.5 inches tall x 13.5 inches long x 6 inches deep. To clean this piece use just a damp cloth to dust.
