Antique Tankard / St Louis Silver Co. Tankard / Antique Pat 1905 / Beer Stein / Silverplated Gargoyles / Silver plated Dragons / tall 15"

This is for a very Large and wonderful Antique wood and Quadruple Plate (silver plate) stein that was made in the early 1900's. It is marked on the inside with the pat of - Aug *1* 1905 and the makers name of St. Louis Silver .
This Antique stein measures: 15 inches tall x 7 inches inches at the handle x 5 inches diameter at the base. It is a very heavy and solid piece of history.
The relief silver plated design is of Oriental Koi Fish / Dragons and or Gargoyles all the way around the piece. The statement dragon handle is a wonderful eye catching addition to the large stein.
The stein probably has wear on the silver plating. I only slightly cleaned it to add dimension to the design. With this I don't know the full condition. I didn't think being over 100 years old that shiny is the correct look for it and thus left most of the patina.
This very unusual and uniquely large stein and will make for a wonderful addition to any collection as a wonderful conversation piece.
