Antique Silver Plated Candelabras with Etched Hurricane Shades

This is for 2 AMAZING Federal Styled, circa 19th century, RARE large Silver Plated candelabras. They are also Very heavy measuring: 16.5 inches tall without the hurricanes x 19 inches wide x 5.5 inches deep. I can not overstate the impression these make and the beauty of this set.
**Each one WEIGHS approx.: 10 lbs.**

When the glass etched hurricanes are used with the candelabras they measure: 26.5 inches tall x 22 inches wide x 6 inches deep.

These wonderful pieces are from the late 19th century. The base design is similar to some I found from Sheffield of England and so is the styling. The makers name was most likely on the bottom, which is missing the metal bottom liner and has felt placed over to finish the base nicely.

The extra large RARE glass hurricanes are Hand Etched with the American Eagle and the 13 stars to represent the 13 colonies. The eagles are majestic with the open wings and sitting on a branch. The hurricanes alone are very tall and majestic. Note the pictures to see how the stars show through the glass and reflect on the wall!

**These have a silver plated rim that sits inside the candle cup holders, One appears to have been replaced.

**One of the shades has a very small chip at the top which appears to have been smoothed out a bit, note pictures.

**The one candle holder has no issues while the other seems to have repair, or added silver to hold the arms. One candle holder shows missing silver plate - showing the copper noted in two spots.

Other then noted issues these are in amazing condition despite the pure age of the pieces. These large stately pieces came from a Southern Air mmand General's Estate thus why these were surely important pieces in his collection with the American Eagle and 13 colony star etchings!
