Antique Spelter Bust on Alabaster Art Nouveau Victorian Lady Sculpture

This is for a wonderful antique Victorian, Art Nouveau, or Edwardian lady bust crafted from spelter and mounted on an alabaster stone column and base. Elegant and decorative, this charming sculpture captures the beauty and fashion of the late 19th and early 20th centuries.

The finely detailed bust depicts a fashionable woman wearing an elaborate hat and holding a fan, reflecting the graceful styling popular during the Victorian and Art Nouveau periods. The metal bust is mounted atop an alabaster column and square base, which are bolted together to create a refined architectural presentation.

While the piece is unsigned, its styling is reminiscent of works by Sylvain Kinsburger and other European sculptors who produced decorative bronzed spelter figures during the late 1800s and early 1900s.

The sculpture measures approximately 9¼ inches tall, 4.5 inches wide, and 3¼ inches deep. The alabaster base measures approximately 3¼ inches wide by 3¼ inches deep.
This lovely antique display piece looks beautiful on a mantel, vanity, dresser, bookshelf, curio cabinet, or alongside other antique decorative objects. Its classic styling complements Victorian, French, Art Nouveau, Edwardian, and traditional interiors.

The piece does show age-related wear to the bronzed patina, with some areas revealing traces of the spelter beneath. There may also be minor chips to the alabaster base or column consistent with age. Please review all photographs carefully as they form part of the description. Despite these imperfections, the sculpture remains a wonderful decorative example from the period.

This is in good antique condition for its age and will make a charming addition to any collection of antique sculpture or Victorian decorative arts.
