Antique French Porcelain Portrait Miniature Gilded Bronze Frame Lady

This is for a charming antique French portrait miniature featuring a beautifully hand-painted portrait of a woman in period attire. The delicate artwork is painted on a porcelain disc with hand-applied gold trim and mounted within an intricately crafted bronze frame highlighted with gilded gold paint accents.

Dating to the late 19th century, the portrait evokes the elegance of the Marie Antoinette and French Rococo periods, making it a wonderful decorative piece for collectors of French antiques and miniature artwork. The fine facial detailing and delicate hand-painted execution demonstrate the craftsmanship that made portrait miniatures highly prized decorative objects during the Victorian era.

The porcelain portrait is set into an ornate handcrafted bronze frame assembled with small pins or nails and supported by a small footed easel stand on the reverse. The frame itself is a work of art, featuring detailed craftsmanship that enhances the beauty and uniqueness of the portrait.
