This is for a very large and exceptionally heavy Justice Scale crafted from brass, richly colored green and brown onyx stone, and mixed metal chains. Rare in both size and presence, this impressive decorative scale is one of the largest examples of this style that I have encountered and makes a dramatic statement wherever displayed.

Standing approximately 27 inches tall, 23 inches wide, and 7.75 inches deep, this substantial piece commands attention with its elegant proportions and luxurious materials. The two large hanging scale bowls each measure approximately 7.5 inches in diameter and are suspended by decorative chains from the brass balance arm.

The scale features beautiful natural green and brown onyx throughout the column and base, creating striking color variations and patterns unique to the stone. The combination of polished brass and richly veined onyx gives the piece a sophisticated appearance that works beautifully with Traditional, Neoclassical, Hollywood Regency, Mediterranean, Tuscan, and Executive Office décor.

Several original markings and labels remain present, including:
Hand Manufactured by Grazia Aviano – Italy
Onyx of Pakistan Made in Italy
Giuliani Creation marked on the reverse upper section

While inspired by traditional scales of justice, this piece is often used as decorative art. The large scale bowls are perfect for displaying flowers, candles, potpourri, seasonal decorations, jewelry, or other decorative objects.

Due to its considerable size and weight, this scale will be packed with exceptional care. For safe shipping, the balance arm and hanging scale bowls may be removed and packed separately. Reassembly upon arrival is straightforward.

This impressive decorative scale is ideal for a grand entryway, library, office, law office, fireplace mantel, console table, or as a centerpiece within a collection of fine decorative objects.

This is in wonderful vintage condition and will make an extraordinary addition to any collection of Italian décor, onyx furnishings, or decorative scales.
